This Privacy Policy describes how Texas Power Protection (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit go.texaspowerprotection.com (the “Site”) or interact with our services. By using the Site or submitting information through any form, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit our savings-analysis form or book a call, we collect: first and last name, email address, phone number, home address, ZIP code, homeowner status, home type, and any comments you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage patterns through cookies, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies. This includes your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent, and UTM/campaign parameters from advertising platforms.
Advertising identifiers. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and Google Analytics 4 to measure the performance of our advertising. These tools may collect the Facebook click ID (fbclid), Facebook browser ID (_fbp), Google click ID (gclid), and similar identifiers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To determine your eligibility for the PUCT Virtual Power Plant program.
- To contact you by phone, text message, and email about your inquiry and related offerings (with your express written consent).
- To schedule, confirm, and conduct your savings-analysis consultation.
- To measure and optimize our advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, and other platforms.
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve the Site and our services through analytics.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information with the following categories of recipients:
- Licensed installers and program operators participating in the PUCT Virtual Power Plant pilot, who may contact you directly about your eligibility and enrollment.
- Service providers that help us operate our business, including GoHighLevel (CRM), Stride Agents (call scheduling), email delivery providers, hosting providers, and analytics platforms.
- Advertising platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, to measure ad performance and deliver relevant ads. We may hash your email and phone number before sharing for matching purposes.
- Credit reporting agencies (for soft-pull prequalification only), which will not impact your credit score.
- Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do notsell your personal information for monetary consideration. Some sharing with advertising partners may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state privacy laws - see Section 7 for opt-out rights.
4. Communications Consent (TCPA)
By providing your phone number and submitting our form, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages (including those made using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded/artificial voice) from Texas Power Protection and its authorized marketing partners at the number you provided, for the purpose of discussing our services. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize you, remember your preferences, measure Site performance, and deliver relevant advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not function properly. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
6. Data Retention & Security
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.
- Opt out of automated decision-making.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

8. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the rights described above plus the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared. California residents also have the right to non-discrimination for exercising their rights. To submit a request, email privacy@texaspowerprotection.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Facebook / Meta Disclaimer
This Site is not a part of Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. Additionally, this Site is NOT endorsed by Facebook in any way. FACEBOOK is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page at least 30 days before taking effect.
